Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Operations to join a dynamic printing company in the Greater Sacramento area. The Vice President of Operations, will be responsible for print operations oversight, developing and executing strategies to enhance efficiency, quality, and profitability while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Pay:$140k - $180k, DOE. 


The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the printing industry, a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership abilities, and a proven track record of operational success.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs, and maximize efficiency throughout the printing processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of production managers, supervisors, and staff to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Oversee all aspects of production, including scheduling, quality control, inventory management, and equipment maintenance to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in operations.
  • Monitor industry trends and technological advancements to recommend and implement innovative solutions that enhance our competitive edge.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Maintains SOC 2, Type II compliance environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.


SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in the printing or engineering industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of print production processes.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale operations, driving process improvements, and achieving operational excellence.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset to drive business objectives.
  • Proficiency in industry-specific software and familiarity with the latest printing technologies.
