We are partnering with our North Sacramento based client in the search for a dynamic and accomplished Vice President of Human Resources to lead strategic initiatives, cultivate a positive workplace culture, and support ongoing organizational growth.

As Vice President of Human Resources, you will play a critical role in aligning HR strategy with business objectives, overseeing core HR functions, and driving employee engagement across the organization.
This position provides a unique platform to shape policy, optimize systems, and influence culture throughout a multi-location environment.
Salary: $160,000.00 - $205,000.00 DOE. 100% on site
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Shape and align HR strategy with organizational goals, driving initiatives in workforce planning, compliance, and change management.
- Lead employee engagement and culture-building efforts to enhance morale, productivity, and retention across all levels.
- Oversee core HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, leave management, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage HR systems and data, ensuring accurate reporting, analytics, and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain policies and documentation, including employee handbooks, hiring materials, and internal procedures.
- Drive talent acquisition and performance programs, from recruitment and onboarding to compensation planning and 401(k) administration.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Educational and professional credentials, including a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, senior HR certifications (SPHR/PHR or SHRM-CP/SCP), and over 7 years of progressive HR leadership experience.
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information clearly and collaborate across all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of developing actionable solutions to complex HR challenges.
- Strategic HR leadership experience, including the design and execution of initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Expertise in employee relations and conflict resolution, ensuring fair outcomes and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and data-driven decision-making, supporting efficient operations and compliance.
