Four year degree with a focus in Accounting or Finance. CPA license or registered EA highly desired.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Prepare tax returns (Corporate, Partnerships and Federal).
- Act as first point of contact to clients and manage client accounts.
- Performs monthly journal entries, reconciles general ledger accounts, prepares financials and ownership schedules, as well as, researches problems and questions, and completes quarterly reporting, audit, regulatory, and various tax schedules.
- Gain understanding of clients' needs and expectations, their business and industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values and industry specific GAAP and GAAS issues.
- Maintain a good working relationship with clients, and work with client management and staff to perform audit services.
- Assess risks and evaluate the client's internal control structure.
- Corrects and guides other team members as to general ledger accounts and reconciliations based on financial reviews.
Skills and Qualifications:
Four year degree with a focus in Accounting or Finance. CPA license or registered EA highly desired.
- Two-seven years experience in public accounting.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles, including generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
