We are seeking a Senior Recruiter with full cycle recruiting experience to join our internal team. We are a thriving boutique consulting firm in Sacramento. Our team works with clients and candidates across multiple industries, disciplines, and geographies. The Senior Recruiter will nurture relationships with prospective talent, develop candidate pipelines, research, assess and identify new and innovative strategies and tools for recruiting. The qualified candidate will have a minimum of five years of high-volume, full cycle recruiting experience in accounting/finance and/or IT. Someone who is driven, with goal-oriented energy, but also has empathy for people possesses the traits that lead to great success in our business. We are looking for someone who is action-oriented and results-focused. Base Salary: $60k-$100k DOE, plus profit sharing.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process for Partner, Director, and Professional level searches including market research to identify potential candidates.
  • Conduct consultative intake calls, partnering with Human Resources and hiring managers to understand business priorities, role requirements, and target profiles.
  • Develop comprehensive search strategies to identify and attract highly qualified candidates, and referrals.
  • Your expertise in networking with the best in the industry while utilizing various recruiting methods along with thinking “outside of the box” regarding recruitment will be invaluable.
  • Lead recurring calibration progress meetings on active searches with key stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic guidance and advice in a true partnership to both candidates and clients. Provide interview coaching as needed. 
  • Proactively drive candidate progress and play a pivotal role in decision-making at each stage.
  • Establish talent networks in the market, tapping knowledgeable industry sources to develop an ongoing pipeline and to ensure connection to the greater market.
  • Continually contribute to the knowledge base of the broader recruiting function by sharing profiles and best practices.
  • Establish and nurture meaningful relationships with key stakeholders. 
  • Succeed in a performance and metric-driven environment, where the quality of hire, hiring manager and candidate experience, time to fill, and diversity of slates are important to our success.



SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 -10 years of progressive search firm recruiting experience, preferably in the Finance/Accounting & IT industries.
  • 3+ years of experience in Executive/Partner/Managing Director recruiting.
  • High school diploma required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working with and influencing multiple key stakeholders and building relationships.
  • Excels in working independently in an ambiguous environment while consistently delivering the right results with limited guidance.
  • Sense of urgency and ownership from start to finish; solutions-driven, models client service excellence.
  • Experience with using data and metrics to determine improvements in the talent identification process.
  • Proactive exceptional communicator.
  • Strong critical thinking and organization skills.
  • Solid sourcing, interviewing and placement abilities. 
  • Excellent coaching skills.  
  • Strong business writing skills.
