Job Description

Pacific Staffing is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst to join a professional services company that is an industry leader located in the Gold River area. This is an onsite position. Salary: $120,000-$140,000 DOE.


The ideal candidate comes from a strong finance and accounting analytical background, enjoys making sense of complex data sets and has advanced technology skills.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide in-depth financial and operational analysis to executive leaders and stakeholders.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and other areas to improve business results
  • Prepare and manage comprehensive financial models and forecasts, essential for assessing business performance, guiding strategic plans, and supporting investment decisions.
  • Monitor and report on key financial and operational metrics.
  • Update and/or enhance reporting templates and tools to capture critical financial metrics.
  • Presenting financial forecasts and insights to senior management to assist in business strategy formulation.
  • Prepare various budget vs. forecast reports and produce variance analyses for operational management; effectively communicating key takeaways to executive leaders.
  • Ensure that the annual budgeting process aligns with organizational goals and financial constraints.
  • Develop and oversee long-term financial planning that incorporates growth objectives, market trends, and financial sustainability.
  • Drive continuous improvement of process enhancements and workflow automation.
  • Support the integration of newly acquired entities.


SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 7-10yrs experience in a corporate Financial Analyst role.
  • Power BI experience required.
  • Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to communicate complex Financial/Accounting terminology to non-financial personnel
  • Ability to work with different groups and levels across the company to capture/communicate key requirements
  • Extensive demonstrable financial modeling and report development experience
