Senior Cost Accountant

Primary Responsibilities: Prepare monthly financial statements and a value-added financial package. Develop and update intermediate balance sheet reconciliations to ensure a reliable presentation of balance sheet with solid controls. Monitor cash flow and update cash forecast. Research and document resolution on intermediate accounting issues. Develop, update, and maintain inventory standard costs, and become a trusted business advisor to the Operations and Sales teams. Help develop ERP costing and analysis. Create and review intermediate general ledger entries. Manage vendor relationships, invoicing, and month end accruals. Designs and maintains internal accounting controls over accounting and reporting functions. Support development of annual budget and related forecasts. Research and explain account variances, interpret trends, evaluate fluctuations. Prepare required documents for annual financialaudits.
Skills & Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Accounting. Must have 4+ years of experience in preparing financial statements with an intermediate knowledge of accounting. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Must have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and working knowledge of intermediate level ERP's.
