Job Description
We are recruiting a Salesforce Administrator for a leading regional community servicing non-profit organization. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the company database. Salary range: $112,000 - $130,000 DOE.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical ability, project management skills and an analytical approach.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the system administrator for Salesforce.
- Handle all administrative functions, including: User maintenance, Page layout modification, Report and dashboard generation, and Creation of new fields.
- Apply project management oversight to Salesforce.
- Evaluate and report on Salesforce user performance.
- Gather feedback and requests for system improvements and implement changes as needed.
- Develop solutions to address Salesforce challenges.
- Function as a subject matter expert and resource, attending meetings, conferences, and giving presentations.
- Automate processes using Salesforce tools (Process Builder, Flow Automation, Validation Rules).
- Identify, install, and maintain apps from AppExchange for event management, mass email, document merge, etc.
- Train new users and enhance Salesforce skills across the company.
- Document customizations made in Salesforce.
- Plan for upgrades, seasonal releases, and long-term projects.
- Actively participate in capturing, developing, sharing, and effectively using Salesforce knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of related experience.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform, best practices, and functionality.
- Strong project management skills.
- Salesforce Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certification preferred.
- Experience with nonprofit organizations institutions preferred.
- Expert knowledge in Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook, database software, and internet use.
- Proficient with cloud-based systems (Salesforce, Concur, Zoom, Teams, Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and Board of Directors.
- Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers and organizational partners.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple requests.
- Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and other integrated systems.
- Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Flexibility and ability to perform in a fast-paced organization.
