Pacific Staffing is looking for a dedicated and experienced Residential Property Compliance Manager to join a leading philanthropic property management company in the Sacramento region. The Residential Property Compliance Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the affordable housing properties adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and ensure compliance with all affordable housing regulations and programs, including LIHTC, Section 8, and others.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure that units meet quality and compliance standards.
- Monitor and maintain accurate tenant records, including income certifications and lease agreements.
- Collaborate with property management teams to address compliance-related issues and provide training as needed.
- Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies.
- Stay up to date on changes in affordable housing regulations and inform the team of any updates that may affect compliance.
- Work with auditors during financial audits and inspections.
- Maintain a positive relationship with local housing authorities and other regulatory agencies.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years’ experience in affordable residential/housing compliance management.
- Must have Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) credential.
- Strong understanding of LIHTC, Section 8, and other affordable housing programs.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local housing regulations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
