We are recruiting for a Regional IT Specialist to join a stable and growing national organization. This is a great chance to report to a dynamic Corporate Director of IT and work with a company that offers growth opportunity. This position is mainly onsite, with the potential to work remotely 1 day a week after training. The Regional IT Specialist is responsible for providing onsite technical assistance to staff in the setup and support of the company’s information technology hardware and software applications. Salary: $60,000-$90,000 DOE.
The qualified candidate will be comfortable in a hands-on role and have strong technical skills in help desk/desktop support, troubleshooting networking in a Windows environment and the ability to travel occasionally between Northern and Southern California.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide second level technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related inquiries promptly and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, either remotely or on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Assist in setting up and configuring workstations, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals for employees.
- Assist management in identifying opportunities for process improvement within the department.
- Provides excellent customer service to all levels of employees including customers, peers, and leadership.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years of technical support experience; troubleshooting hardware/software issues and installing software, patches, updates on desktops, and laptops.
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and technical skills to install, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware, software, and guide end users in the use of software programs.
- Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware problems.
- Experience with Windows Server and Desktop OS’s, VMWare, Azure and SQL Server.
- Knowledge of DMSI agility preferred.
- Ability to travel to other sites and work after hours when needed.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships and provide outstanding customer service internally and externally.
- Apply critical thinking skills to solve business problems.
