Regional Human Resources Manager - Direct Hire
Responsibilities: Plans, organizes and controls all activities of the department. Implements and annually updates the compensation program; rewrites job descriptions; conducts annual salary surveys; analyzes compensation; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary. Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures. Conducts recruitment effort for all workers; writes and places advertisements; works with supervisors to screen and interview candidates; conducts reference checking; extends job offers; conducts new-employee orientations; and monitors career-path program. Handles employee relations investigations, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing. Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws. Leads people related initiatives, such as training and development plans.
Requirements: 5+ years' experience in Human Resources. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Master's degree in human resource management desirable. SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential. Adept at strategic thinking andexperience leading and managing high visibility projects. Exemplary interpersonal, written, organizational and communication skills. Knowledge of State and Federal laws, rules and regulations pertaining to labor, benefits and compensation. Working knowledge of Spanish a plus.
