Primary Responsibilities: Phone contact with outside vendors to place and verify orders and delivery times. Vendor contact to rectify order issues and communicate resolution to affected parties. Responsible for following up on variety of purchasing related requests to ensure accurate and timely information. Maintain accounts/records of purchasing activities per standard operating procedures. Research purchasing related issues per request. Provide customer service to ensure customers(dealers, suppliers, Sales personnel, etc.) have all necessary current information. Follow up to ensure resolutionof issues. Creates and executes MPS plans, meets MPS commitments and works within the guidelines of MPS. Adheres toall facets of safety policies and procedures.
Skills & Qualifications: 2-3years experience in Purchasing, Inventory or Procurement support role, or Administrative role including purchasing related tasks. Excellent customer service skills with an attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Display a sense of urgency and self-motivation. Computer literacy with the ability to learn new computer software programs.
