We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator for a position based in Sacramento. This role is responsible for processing and auditing payrolls, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with wage laws, and providing exceptional customer service. Salary: $25.00-$29.00/Hour depending on experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages payroll calculations, audits weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payrolls, ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Provides direct support to clients and employees, troubleshooting system and payroll-related issues while handling general service requests.
- Compiles payroll statistics, maintains payroll control records, and processes garnishments and time sheets.
- Manages a high volume of phone and email inquiries, oversees the payroll inbox, and ensures timely responses to client
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3–5+ years of full-cycle payroll processing experience, deep knowledge of wage & hour laws, garnishments, and time accrual calculations.
- Strong background in client support, CRM/call center experience preferred, effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, high accuracy in high-volume 10-key data entry, basic understanding of HR, Benefits, and Workers' Compensation.
- Ability to manage multiple activities while meeting deadlines, computer help desk experience a plus, BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
