Pacific Staffing is recruiting an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to provide hands-on maintenance for a high production environment. The Maintenance Specialist will be hands-on responsible for all manufacturing machinery control and maintenance. Pay: $31-$35/hr, DOE. 

The IDEAL CANDIDATE will have 5+ years’ experience working directly with maintenance on production equipment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Repairs and maintenance for all machinery that is out of order.
• Maintenance and scheduling repairs for facilities: HVAC, plumbing, air compressors, lighting, etc.
• Identifying opportunities for equipment improvement, modification or replacement and collaborating with the production management team to implement them.
• Developing plans and schedules for facilities and equipment maintenance and ensuring that they are completed in a timely manner.
• Track all maintenance related work and schedules and provide reporting on equipment reliability and uptime.
• Determine appropriate spare parts inventory.
• Manufacturing parts when feasible.
• Provide technical support to production personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years’ experience in production mechanics, maintenance or similar.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, loop drawings, hydraulic diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and blueprints.
• Proficient in three-phase power.
• Solid experience with motor and motion control.
• An understanding of the components used in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical circuits.
• Comfort with working on VFD and Servo Drives.
• Mechanical experience with motion control components such as linear bearing, gears, and splines.
• Experience with machine guarding safety components such as light curtains, laser scanners, safety switches, estops and safety relays.
