Job Description
We are recruiting a Logistics Coordinator for a rapidly growing global environmental management technology company specializing in real-time, predictive software solutions. Our client offers competitive compensation and ample opportunities for advancement for individuals with a growth mindset. This is a contract to hire position, 100% onsite in Folsom, CA. Pay: $21-$24/hour DOE.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of logistics/inventory management experience, high attention to detail, and is bilingual Spanish/English (fluent both spoken and written).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide backup support to the Logistics Specialist for the region, ensuring optimal stock levels and accuracy.
- Manage daily shipping and receiving processes, including reviewing invoices, and processing shipments for third-party repairs.
- Handle logistics-related purchase orders and client allocations promptly.
- Manage inventory of telecommunication SIM cards, including tracking active cards and coordinating with vendors.
- Coordinate project hardware staging, configuration, and testing before deployment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve deployment and integration issues efficiently.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues with vendors/suppliers, escalating when necessary.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates to internal tools and systems.
- Maintain inventory calibration requirements and assist with in-house repairs as needed.
- Facilitate the completion and delivery of maintenance forms to customers.
- Coordinate shipping of necessary parts for field service technicians and subcontractors.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in logistics/inventory management preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role/industry.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, both spoken and written preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for short periods.
- Familiarity with common hand tools and lightweight power tools.
- Experience with low voltage diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent telephone and email communication skills.
- Strong organizational, adaptability, and teamwork abilities.
- Self-motivated with a high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
