We are seeking a highly competent Loan Processor (High Volume) for a position based in Sacramento. Our client is a reputable and leading organization with corporate headquarters in Sacramento, offering a robust leadership team committed to diversity and inclusion initiatives. The Loan Processor is responsible for processing loan applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation, and facilitating the loan approval and funding process. This role involves working closely with members, loan officers, and other stakeholders to provide exceptional service and ensure compliance with credit union policies and regulations.
Pay: $22/hour
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Experience in high-volume contact center consumer loan environments.
- Receive, audit, and research dealership paperwork, resolving discrepancies and verifying application data for accuracy.
- Identify red flags in loan documents to mitigate fraud risks and maintain a strong understanding of relevant state and federal regulations.
- Determine loan disbursal eligibility based on established guidelines and accurately fund dealerships, including administrative fees.
- Assist department staff with reporting, communicate loan status to stakeholders, and provide support in other lending areas as needed.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of lending experience involving contract review preferred; related experience considered.
- Proficient in clerical tasks, telephone communication, credit reporting and electronic banking equipment, ten-key operation, facsimile machines, and basic computer filing.
- Strong attention to detail.
