Job Description

Pacific Staffing is recruiting a Labor Compliance Coordinator to join a reputable construction company in Sacramento. The Labor Compliance Coordinator is responsible for various administrative duties as they relate to ensuring Certified Payroll Records are in compliance with California Prevailing Wage Law. This is a great contract to hire opportunity to join a well known industry leader. Pay: $27-32/hour


The qualified candidate will have 2-3 years of labor compliance experience in the construction industry.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure accurate processing, recording, and reporting of Certified Payroll Records (CPR) and related paperwork.
  • Submit confidential documents and data in systems and databases.
  • Monitor and resolve any labor compliance violations.
  • Maintain compliance spreadsheet, scanning, and filing.
  • Point of contact for Labor Compliance communications.
  • Attend pre-job meetings.
  • Liaison between project Labor Compliance Officer and Project Management team.
  • Review the CPR’s of each subcontractor performing work.
  • Monitor and ensure timely weekly reporting of all subcontractors.
  • Manage Fringe Benefit and Non-Performance Statements.
  • Maintains office records and files through accurate and timely processing of documents, setting up and maintaining department files, etc.
  • Review AP invoices for compliance related items.
  • Capture data timely and accurately.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in payroll or labor compliance in the construction industry. 
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a professional office environment with knowledge of general office procedures and equipment. Construction industry experience preffered.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Ability to clear a criminal background check and drug screen.
