We are recruiting a dynamic Human Resources Manager for a professional services organization located in Downtown Sacramento. The Human Resource Manager leads day to day HR operations, including Recruitment, Performance Management, Training, and Employee Relations. Ideal candidates will be comfortable with a high training and development environment.

Responsibilities:
- Develop world-class staff/team, grounded in excellent customer service for employees.
- Participate in company leadership as member of executive and senior management teams.
- Develop and maintain accountability-based job descriptions for all positions.
- Create training program for employees at all levels of the company.
- Provide a comprehensive and valued benefits program.
- Create and manage a budget for initiatives (training, recruitment, etc.) plus basic HR, Safety and Payroll functions.
- Develop and maintain a compensation program that is performance-based.
- Ensure the company complies with federal and state laws regarding employees and employment law.
- Strategize to obtain and maintain satisfied, engaged & valued employees.
- Manage Action Plan projects to accomplish employee initiatives.
- Cultivate partnering relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Foster distinctive leadership in creativity and employee focus.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, competition, employee needs, and opportunities to grow human resource functions.
- Training calendar with opportunities scheduled at least one quarter in advance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of increasing experience leading human resources functions.
- College degree required.
- Certifications in SHRM-SCP and HRCI.
- Exceptional relationship and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Exceptional coach and mentor.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency.
