We are recruiting for a highly reputable healthcare organization in the Greater Sacramento area that seeks a dedicated Human Resources Manager. This on-site position in Sacramento offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $140,000, commensurate with experience. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's objectives and foster a high-performance culture.
- Lead the annual compensation review process, using market data to suggest pay scale adjustments and ensure internal equity. Administer employee benefits programs to maintain competitiveness and compliance.
- Update the Employee Handbook to meet legal requirements and reflect best practices. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance on disciplinary actions to ensure consistent and fair application of policies and procedures. Advise management on resolving employee issues and mediating conflicts.
- Supervise recruitment processes, including creating job descriptions, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees. Implement performance management systems to support employee development and improve organizational effectiveness.
- Identify professional development needs and lead the creation of training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is preferred
- At least 5 years of HR experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a management or director-level role, preferably within a healthcare setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on solutions
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Comprehensive knowledge of California labor laws and HR best practices
