Job Description
We are recruiting a talented and experienced Human Resources Manager for a highly profitable, stable, and entrepreneurial company in Galt, CA. This role will have three direct reports and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This includes employee relations, performance management, leave of absence management, recruitment, training and development, payroll, compensation and benefits administration, and ensuring safety/compliance with all relevant labor regulations. 100% onsite with some flexibility. Salary: $115,000-$135,000 DOE.

The ideal candidate will have managed an HR department and has strong employee relations, benefits administration, LOA administration and payroll experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Oversee employee relations, including managing conflicts, conducting investigations, and resolving grievances
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll processing
- Develop and implement performance management systems to enhance employee productivity and engagement
- Coordinate training and development initiatives to improve employee skills and knowledge
- Ensure compliance with all labor regulations and keep abreast of changes in employment law
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Handle disciplinary actions and terminations when necessary
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management roles
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
- Demonstrated leadership and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software applications
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred
