Job Description
We are recruiting a Human Resources Manager to support the daily HR functions of an organization with multiple sites. This position will be considered as a successor for the Human Resources Director. This is an on-site position in the Galt area and opportunity to work for a company that offers a flat and collaborative work environment. Our client offers a generous compensation package to include profit sharing.
The qualified candidate will be a strong communicator devoted to operational excellence and who places an emphasis on supporting the business with all HR initiatives. Salary DOE: $125,000-$150,000
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage daily operation of the Human Resource department. Ensure that programs/practices are clearly communicated and understood by management and employees across the company.
- Partner with HR leaders and team members to manage department initiatives.
- Oversee employee benefits administration.
- Process LOAs in accordance with CA and Federal law.
- Manage staffing needs, including sourcing and interviewing.
- Coordinate Performance Management and Succession Planning programs.
- Ensure all HR initiatives and goals are met in accordance with corporate objectives.
- Manage employee relations, including conducting investigations as needed.
- Oversee compliance and develop/implement HR policies and best practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum five years of Human Resources Generalist experience required.
- Bachelor’s Degree required in HR, business, or related field. Master’s degree preferred but not required.
- Human Resources Certification is preferred.
- Experience with ADP Software preferred.
- Knowledge of Federal and CA State employment laws and other government compliance regulations required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively negotiate, facilitate cooperation and deliver programs to educate stakeholders and reinforce company culture.
- Detail and goal oriented with the ability to efficiently organize projects, prioritize workflow, and complete multiple tasks.
- A skillful, highly organized leader who drives the design of the human resource policies and procedures; makes recommendations using current human resources practices.
- Solid critical and analytical skills.
- Ability to exercise sound independent judgment, maintain confidentiality, tact in dealing with management, supervisors, staff and vendors; a great decision maker who can solve problems effectively.
