Job Description
We are recruiting a Human Resources Generalist for one of the fastest growing companies in California. This position will be 100% onsite at an office located in the South Sacramento area. Our client offers great career advancement opportunities and a collaborative team with excellent leadership. Salary: $70k-$76k DOE.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience as a HR generalist and will be well versed in all HR functions with proven skills in supporting a busy HR Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as the main point of contact for employees, addressing their HR-related inquiries and providing support as needed.

Partner with managers regarding employee relations, performance evaluations, policies, benefits, workers' compensation, leaves, violations, and other human resources issues. Mentor/coach management as appropriate.

Conduct thorough investigations and documentation of employee relations issues, fostering a positive and supportive employee culture.

Conduct onboarding and new hire orientation.

Benefits, and leave administration.

Manage disciplinary matters, disputes, and investigations.

Manage performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale.

Manage occupational health and safety, and training and development.
-
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices.

Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related required.

3 years of experience in an HR generalist role is required.

Human Resources certification preferred.

Excellent knowledge of State and Federal employment laws and Human Resource policies and procedures.
