We are recruiting a Human Resources Generalist for one of the fastest growing companies in California. This position will be 100% onsite at an office located in the South Sacramento area. Our client offers great career advancement opportunities and a collaborative team with excellent leadership. Salary: $70k-$76k DOE.


The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience as a  HR generalist and will be well versed in all HR functions with proven skills in supporting a busy HR Department.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for employees, addressing their HR-related inquiries and providing support as needed.

  • Partner with managers regarding employee relations, performance evaluations, policies, benefits, workers' compensation, leaves, violations, and other human resources issues. Mentor/coach management as appropriate.

  • Conduct thorough investigations and documentation of employee relations issues, fostering a positive and supportive employee culture.

  • Conduct onboarding and new hire orientation.  

  • Benefits, and leave administration.

  • Manage disciplinary matters, disputes, and investigations.

  • Manage performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale.

  • Manage occupational health and safety, and training and development.

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices.

  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related required.

  • 3 years of experience in an HR generalist role is required.

  • Human Resources certification preferred. 

  • Excellent knowledge of State and Federal employment laws and Human Resource policies and procedures.

  • Superb conflict resolution skills.

  • Solution focused and results driven.  

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface with all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to prioritize and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Ability to display integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in HRIS and talent management systems.
