As Human Resources Director, you will be responsible for overseeing HR initiatives, developing cultural programs, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with all labor laws. In this position, you will lead a team of 2-3 direct reports. Fully onsite. Salary: up to $145,000 DOE.

The qualified candidate will have 5+ years of experience in HR management and a proactive approach to developing and executing cultural initiatives and directives. Experience in the manufacturing, construction, utilities, or transportation industries are preferred.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
• Oversee employee relations, including managing conflicts, conducting investigations, and resolving grievances
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll processing
• Develop and implement performance management systems to enhance employee productivity and engagement
• Coordinate training and development initiatives to improve employee skills and knowledge
• Ensure compliance with all labor regulations and keep abreast of changes in employment law
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation
• Handle disciplinary actions and terminations when necessary

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management roles
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
• Demonstrated leadership and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software applications
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred
