Job Description

We are recruiting for a  Human Resources Coordinator & Recruiter   for a leading company that provides high tech specialized products and services. This is a contract to hire opportunity! The HR Coordinator & Recruiter facilitates full-cycle recruitment efforts for the company s talent acquisition process and supports the Human Resources Department with special projects.   Pay: $28-$32/hour DOE.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing full cycle recruitment duties and day-to-day HR coordination activities.
This is a hybrid remote opportunity!
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Full-cycle recruitment of all positions including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants.
  • Collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Assist with orientation preparation for new employees.
  • Identify and implement creative and effective sourcing methods and strategies.
  • Responsible for employment verifications both written and verbal. 
  • Assist with the maintenance of all relevant personnel documentation. 
  • Process human resources reports as needed and maintain reporting records for audits.
  • Assist with personnel filing systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Three years of relevant human resources work experience.
  • A bachelor s degree in human resources or business.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources and business acumen is preferred.
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and their applications.
  • Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) is strongly preferred.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in a variety of situations.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects. 
  • Ability to work individually and as a member of a team.
