We are recruiting for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join a professional services organization in Sacramento. The HRBP is responsible for leading and implementing HR initiatives that align with the company’s long-term strategic goals and support a high performing work culture. Salary: $110,000-$125,000 DOE.
The qualified candidate will have a minimum of five progressive years’ experience in human resources including employee relations, change management, compensation, organizational development, and performance development.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a senior strategic consultant to executive leadership. Collaborate to design and implement forward-thinking HR initiatives that drive business success.
- Provide expert consultation on organizational development to ensure sustainable growth and operational excellence.
- Develop and execute robust talent management strategies, including succession planning, workforce planning, and leadership development.
- Utilize advanced HR analytics to identify trends, forecast workforce needs, and provide data-driven insights to executive leadership.
- Drive a high-performance culture by implementing processes that enhance accountability, productivity, and leadership effectiveness.
- Manage complex employee relations issues and investigations.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of labor laws and regulatory requirements.
- Lead efforts to enhance employee engagement and morale.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years progressive responsibility in human resources is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- HR Certification is a plus.
- Strong professionalism and exceptional stakeholder management skills to partner with all levels of employees.
- Good understanding of employment law and clear judgment on when to escalate matters.
- Ability to form strategic partnerships with senior leadership.
- Strong knowledge of laws, rules, regulations, case law, principles, and practices related to employee conduct, performance, and dispute resolution.
- Demonstrated solid judgment and experience assessing risk relative to the business.
- Solid project management and change management experience.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively analyze data and provide recommendations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- Must possess discretion and a strong sense of confidentiality.
