We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join a prestigious professional services firm based in Sacramento. With our client experiencing robust growth, this role promises significant opportunities for career progression. Following training, the position transitions to a hybrid model, balancing 2 days onsite and 3 days remote. Salary: $120,000 +10% performance bonus.
The qualified candidate should possess three years of hands-on experience in employee relations, managing leaves of absence, enhancing employee retention strategies, and conducting recruitment activities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs routine human resources tasks including but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave of absence, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, recognition, and morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Conduct background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Generates internal documents such as offer letters and warning letters.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Minimum 3 years of human resources management experience preferred.
- SHRM or HRCI certification is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
