Pacific Staffing is recruiting an onsite Human Resources Business Partner for a stable employer in Modesto. Our client offers a great benefits package and competitive pay! The HRBP will support a large manufacturing plant by advising on HR policies and practices, employee engagement, performance management, talent acquisition, employee relations, and general HR consulting. Salary: $80k-$110k DOE. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong generalist background with a least five years’ experience in a related human resources role. This is a direct hire opportunity!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as a consultant to management on human resources related issues.
• Proactively assess HR related needs and provide efficient and timely resolution.
• Act as an employee advocate and change agent.
• Maintain an understanding of the company’s financial position, mid/long- term goals, objectives, culture, and performance.
• Analyze trends and metrics in partnership to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
• Work closely with management and employees to improve relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
• Create employee engagement initiatives such as attracting, developing, and retaining employees.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related required; MHRM or MBA preferred
• Minimum 5 years progressive Human Resources experience
• PHR or SPHR preferred
• Knowledge of Federal and CA state employment laws
• Excellent consulting skills/ability to prioritize
• Strong conflict management skills
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
• Experience in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
• Ability to design and execute HR programs that meet business partner needs
