Job Description
We are recruiting for a Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join a highly successful professional services organization in Folsom. Our client offers a hybrid work schedule, 100% medical benefits covered for the employee, and many other perks!
The HR Administrative Assistant will support the HR department and will perform a wide range of administrative and Human Resources duties and projects. Salary: $55k-$70k DOE.
The ideal candidate will have two years experience supporting a busy HR department. Must have excellent communication skills and strong technical skills to navigate the HRIS software.

RESPONSIBILIITES:
- Prepare offer requests, offer letters, and administer pre-employment process (background and reference checks, drug screens, etc.).
- Assist in new employee orientation preparations.
- Process new hire paperwork and new hire orientation training records.
- Assist with worker s compensation administration. (filing, claims, scheduling appointments, follow-up).
- Assist with recruitment: job postings, scheduling interviews, and rejection notifications.
- Assist with benefits management.
- Respond to requests for employment verifications.
- Maintain HRIS records and compile reports from database.
- Administer unemployment claims, leaves of absences, and workers compensation.
- COVID-19 absence management.
- Create newsletters/communication for employee engagement; manage the intranet.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years experience in an HR support or administrative role.
- Bachelor' s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Exceptional verbal/written communication and business writing skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organization skills.
- Warm personality with excellent customer service.
- Working knowledge of state and federal laws employment laws.
- Ability to use good judgement and pass a criminal background check.
