Human Resources Administrative Assistant - Direct Hire
Responsibilities: Schedules interviews. Prepares and processes all new hire documentation, creates personnel files and ensures all required documentation is complete; processes I-9's and background investigations. Benefit enrollment for new hires. Assist Human Resources Manager with conducting new hire and safety orientation. Enters and updates employee data such as address changes, EEO Data, leave of absences, emergency contact information. Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, faxing, and scanning. Writes letters, correspondence and e-mails on behalf of office staff.
Requirements: 2 years Administrative experience; HR experience a plus. Bachelor's Degree required. General knowledge of state and federal labor and employment law. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated, willing to learn and show initiative. Strong organizational and time management skills.
