Job Description

We are recruiting for an HRIS Analyst to support the Human Resources department of a rapidly growing company in Sacramento. The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for providing technical expertise to Payroll, HR, Benefits, Labor Relations, and all related systems users. This is an on-site direct hire position. Salary: $80k-$95k DOE.


The ideal candidate will be analytical, have experience using UKG and will possess strong technical skills.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and implement the HRIS system to ensure a smooth transition; communicate and train end users on interface and business process changes.
  • Configure UKG-provided reports and build custom reports as directed by HR Management.
  • Partner with managers to gather requirements for process improvements, and configure, test, and deploy solutions.
  • Ensure HRIS data confidentiality is maintained.
  • Under the direction of the VP of Human Resources, set up, and maintain proper HR system security roles, and access parameters.
  • Work with HR Management in the setup and/or modification of Job Profiles, Locations, Supervisory Organizations, and other base elements.
  • Audit and monitor employee data to maintain accurate and thorough system records to include: handling corrections, maintenance, and integration issues; and working with HR Department Management to determine appropriate resolution.
  • Perform weekly audits of inbound and outbound integrations with benefits vendors and UKG Payroll to ensure data integrity and proactively resolve data discrepancies.
  • Monitor system scheduled processes and integrations monthly to ensure they operate effectively.
  • Provide accurate and timely support (troubleshooting and guidance) to users regarding business process issues; respond to non-urgent Help Desk tickets within 48 hours.
  • Create, update, maintain, and distribute UKG process documentation and continuously train HR and payroll teams on UKG.
  • Partner with the IT department on technical matters and equipment/system maintenance as it relates to UKG.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3-5 years of experience as an HRIS Analyst using UKG/Kronos required.
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Human Resource Management, or related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with HCM software/ HRIS (e.G., SAP, ADP, UKG, Kronos) and MS Office.
  • Solid knowledge of State and Federal employment laws and Human Resource policies and procedures.
  • Problem solver, troubleshooter and demonstrate proactivity when issues arise.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Able to function well autonomously and as a team member.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and TB clearance.
