Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Fleet and Facilities Administrator to join a county supported development organization in the Sacramento area. The Fleet and Facilities Administrator is responsible for the operations, maintenance, and risk management of all fleet vehicles and commercial properties facilities. This is a long-term contract with the strong potential for permanent employment. Pay: $70k - $80k
The ideal candidate has at least 10 years’ experience in fleet and commercial facilities maintenance management, inventory, and risk management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement fleet and facility policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure smooth operations and compliance with State, Federal and Local regulatory standards.
- Manage building maintenance, security, janitorial services, and equipment upkeep.
- Monitor and maintain facilities systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems, to ensure optimal functionality.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to schedule fleet and facility repairs, maintenance, and renovations as needed.
- Oversee the procurement of fleet and facility-related supplies, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.
- Monitor the condition of company fleet and facilities, identify potential issues or hazards, and take appropriate actions to address them.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and other relevant standards. This includes OSHA regulations, reporting, and tracking of compliance.
- Collaborate with other Managers, Program Managers/Directors to support their fleet and facility-related needs and ensure alignment with organizational objectives and budget.
- Implement an effective maintenance schedule and tracking system for facilities and fleet assets.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years fleet and facilities experience.
- 3+ years in a fleet and facilities management experience role.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Highly organized, able to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
