Responsibilities: Direct and monitor the preparation of audit schedules and analyze at year-end including the Financial Data Schedule. Prepare and/or Review and submit reports to management and regulatory agencies. Review and apply new or revised laws, regulations, and accounting standards. Assist with the preparation of the cost allocation plan. Acquire subject-matter expertise and facilitate groups in the area of work assigned.
Requirements: Five years accounting or financial auditing experience, two (2) years in a supervisoryor managerial role. Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or a related field. Specialized training in municipal or governmental accounting is preferred. CPA or MBA is desirable. Experience managing Accounts Payables (A/P), Accounts Receivables (A/R) and Payroll. Prior accounting experience with enterprise and government funds for a complex organization is a plus. General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Strong ability to analyze, interpret data and prepare reports. Effective oral and written communication skills.
