Job Description

We are recruiting for an Executive Assistant to join a local non-profit organization in the Roseville area. This is a direct hire opportunity. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for managing administrative systems, supporting the CEO, procedures, day-to-day office tasks, and special projects. Pay: $28/hr-$32/hr DOE. 

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as an EA, high energy with a "go-getter" approach and is passionate about working for a non-profit organization. Must possess a high level of critical thinking, and work well with time sensitive deadlines in an evolving environment of change.   Candidates must be available to work onsite.

  • Provide administrative support to the CEO and Corporate Office staff.
  • Ensure files are updated, create letters, fliers, and forms. 
  • Organize events and travel arrangements. 
  • Maintain department calendars.
  • Distribute meeting agenda and packages. Take meeting minutes.   Create, monitor, and distribute meeting notes.
  • Perform errands for the CEO/department as needed. 
  • Create Power Point presentations; may give some presentations.
  • Update company website.
  • Manage onsite events: trainings, open enrollment, food/catering, set up/clean up & even coordination. 
  • Track community equipment, keys etc. 
  • Provide general office support including copying, faxing, scanning data, making phone calls, database input.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education required. College degree preferred. 
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an administrative role. 
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in booking travel arrangements.
  • Excellent verbal, oral and written communication.
  • Experience in reporting meeting minutes is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion, with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances.
  • Highly organized, creative, and flexible with a positive can-do attitude.
