Director of Talent Acquisition
We are recruiting for a Director of Talent Acquisition for a national Logistics organization. Our client offers a competitive compensation package and a highly collaborative work environment. Ideal candidate will be a strong leader with the ability to mentor, lead and manage a team of nine recruiters based throughout the nation. This is a strategic role. Salary: $120k-$145k DOE.

Ideal candidate will be a strong leader with the ability to mentor, lead and manage a team of nine recruiters based throughout the nation. This is a strategic role. Salary: $120k-$145k DOE.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead corporate recruiting initiatives to meet company objectives.
- Identify and attract quality candidates through resources such as career fairs, universities and/or trade schools, social media, blogs, on-line job fairs, community network events, company website, etc.
- Provide guidance, training, and recommendations to managers across all companies on all aspects of recruiting.
- Review, analyze and enhance current recruiting policies and processes to ensure efficient recruiting standard practices.
- Partner with department and hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
- Manage the recruit for corporate positions, which include executive level, management, and operation positions.
- Create interview guides to improve recruiting and selection standards.
- Develop new strategies and programs to attract top quality candidates.
- Maintain the Applicant Tracking System by monitoring candidate activity and creating consistent processes to guarantee the effective use of the software.
- Measure Key Performance Indicators (KPI s).
- Ensure recruiting resources are available to meet recruitment demands.
- Provide leadership, guidance and direction to the recruitment team and their manager.
- Build a high-performance culture.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8 to 10 years of managing a recruiting team of 10+ in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- 5+ years of experience in DOT Class A Driver recruitment.
- Demonstrated success in developing innovative recruitment programs through social media is required.
- Experience in reporting metrics/data analytics.
- Experience with ATS implementation, optimization, and use.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Recruitment and Fair Recruitment Practices.
- Leadership and management skills are required.
- Exceptional communication both verbally and in writing to influence others.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and external vendors.
- Highly analytical to identify recruiting trends and determine solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills including listening, communicating, and interviewing.
- Attention to detail and follow through.
