Job Description
We are recruiting a Director of Information Technology (IT) for a leading regional community servicing non-profit organization. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate in the build out of the IT department as this is a newly created position. The Director of IT is responsible for overseeing the technological direction of the company, leading the IT department, and ensuring the alignment of IT strategies with business goals. This role involves managing IT operations, infrastructure, security, and projects, as well as fostering innovation and efficiency within the organization. Salary: $160,000-$180,000 DOE.
The qualified candidate will be a strategic leader with strong IT Security, Networking and ERP systems. A successful candidate will have extensive experience with Salesforce implementations and managing a Salesforce environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives that align with the company's overall objectives.
- Lead the IT department, providing direction, mentorship, and support to IT staff.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify and plan for the company's technological needs.
- Oversee the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, and software.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems and services.
- Implement and manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect the company's data and systems.
- Monitor and respond to security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments.
- Lead IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver IT solutions that meet business requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services and products.
- Develop and manage the IT department's budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.
- Monitor and control IT spending and investments.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance business operations and efficiency.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the IT team.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5-10 years’ experience in a senior IT management role, as a Director of IT or similar.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and security.
- Implementation and management of Salesforce system is required.
- Experience with strategic planning and project management.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with business intelligence and data visualization applications such as Power BI, Tableau, and Alchemer.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, ITIL) are a plus.
