Pacific Staffing is recruiting an experienced Director of Information Technology (IT) to manage the IT Department of an established regional community organization. The Director of IT will manage the development and implementation of departmental objectives and technical priorities for each department. This position will partner with the Board of Directors regarding technology solutions to improve processes for the organization.  Pay: 180k-250k #hybrid

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Senior Leader or Director overseeing a fully staffed IT department of a mid-large sized community-based organization.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversees the entire development and administration of the IT department. 
• Develops policy, procedures and processes in the support of the goals and objectives of the organization.
• Assists departments with identification and implementation of technology solutions utilizing staff skillsets to improve processes and create value.
• Negotiates and manages IT and communication vendor/supplier contracts. 
• Develops, designs and implements company strategic plans.
• Manages the operation and effectiveness of their data center(s).
• Ensures the availability, continuity, and security of data and IT services.
• Oversees and monitors IT performance standards relative to the needs of various departments and participates in the implementation of new projects. 
• Maintains direction and evaluates emerging technology solutions for improvement.
• Must maintain a positive working relationship with all business units.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science from an accredited college or university; or equivalent education/experience in the computer science field. 
• 10 years of experience in the IT field. 
• 5 years of senior management and leadership experience for a midsize organization.
• Experience managing a 24/7 operation is highly desired.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise integrity and discretion in all matters and to maintain confidentiality of all corporate information and systems.
• Management, supervision, training and employee development.
• Project management, administrative analysis and report preparation.
• Individuals must be able to successfully pass a federal background check.
