Corporate Recruiter- Direct Hire
We are recruiting for a Corporate Recruiter for a specialized medical practice with an excellent reputation. This is a newly created position to support the growth of the organization. Our client offers competitive pay and a flat leadership structure.
Ideal candidate will have the ability to research, develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the Practice. This is a full cycle recruiter role. Salary $75k-85k per year DOE.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Takes ownership of candidate experience by designing, facilitating and implementing the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Develops job postings and collaborates with department managers to develop and/or update job descriptions, and position requirements.
- Places job announcements both internally and externally.
- Is the main contributor in the goal of having, the right people on the bus through recruiting potential employees that have the attributes needed to contribute to the Practice fulfilling its mission in alignment with its core values, and the skills and motivation to perform their job duties.
- Stays abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.
- Screens candidates and moves top three to five candidates forward to hiring supervisor for interview.
- Schedules interviews and oversees preparation of interview questions.
- Prepares interview packets for hiring supervisors.
- Performs reference checks.
- Ensures all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
- Works with placement agencies or temporary staff agencies as needed.
- Represents the Practice at recruiting events.
- Initiates pre-offer Office of Inspector General ( OIG ) checks, as allowed.
- Initiates post-offer background checks and OIG checks.
- Coordinates third party training for new employees and tracks completion.
- Oversees processing of initial onboarding paperwork and compliance documents.
- Inputs initial new hire information into the HRIS system.
- Ensures all new employees have completed the new-hire checklist.
- Supports the onboarding process by providing thorough new employee orientations that clearly spell out to new employees the culture and overall expectations of the practice.
- Follows up with supervisors and managers to confirm that the new employee is successfully completing training in the designated timeframe.
- Follows up with new employees over the first 6 12 months of employment to confirm that the employee is clear on their job expectations, is getting the training they need, and are feeling engaged.
- Design and implement recruiting program in One Point or other program.
- Design and implement an effective and consistent onboarding program.
- Review all individual team job descriptions for completeness and consistency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of two years of related recruiting experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Bachelor' s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- PHR preferred.
- Understanding of the purpose, function, and duties of the various positions in the practice, and the skill and experience necessary to succeed in those roles.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
- Ability to engage with employees and candidates of various backgrounds and levels of experience.
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Comfortable making decisions independently.
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems.
- Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods.
- Deep understanding of employment laws and regulations and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues.
- Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office, and HRIS software.
