Pacific Staffing is recruiting for a Corporate Counsel for a highly successful construction and real estate management company. Our client offers a competitive compensation package and generous benefits.
The qualified candidate has worked at least five years in a firm or corporate legal department and has real estate industry experience to include leasing, property acquisition and disposition and lease administration.

The qualified candidate has worked at least five years in a firm or corporate legal department and has real estate industry experience to include leasing, property acquisition and disposition and lease administration.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Negotiate complex retail, office, and industrial leases and draft and related documents.
- Provide legal support for real estate acquisitions and dispositions.
- Provide legal support for real estate related disputes and litigation.
- Collaborate with and facilitate cross-team decision-making among the Construction team, Property Management team, Finance team, and other internal teams.
- Provide rapid, practical, business-oriented legal/commercial contract advice directly to business
- Stakeholders.
- Assist in internal review of additional matters, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or corporate legal department; in-house corporate legal department experience preferred.
- J.D. Degree from an accredited law school required.
- Licensed to practice law in California.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical and research skills required.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, fluid, and collaborative corporate culture.
- Ability to draft and close commercial agreements with minimal support from senior staff.
- Demonstrated ability to think and decide quickly, and to communicate legal issues and solutions clearly and concisely.
