Job Description
Pacific Staffing is recruiting for a Corporate Counsel for a rapidly growing healthcare consulting firm that operates in all 50 states. Our client offers a competitive compensation package, generous benefits, and a collaborative work environment. Salary: $170k-$210K DOE.
This is an on-site position that will partner with outside counsel regarding contracts and compliance for the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with legislative/government affairs, contracts, and will have worked with an in-house corporate legal department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Negotiate and draft complex contracts and related documents.
- Provide legal support for general company compliance.
- Provide legal support for disputes and litigation.
- Track pertinent legislation and legal cases that impact the industry.
- Collaborate with external General Counsel for guidance on legal matters.
- Provide rapid, practical, business-oriented legal/commercial contract advice directly to business
- Stakeholders.
- Assist in internal review of additional matters, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- 5+ years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or corporate legal department; in-house corporate legal department experience preferred.
- J.D. Degree from an accredited law school required.
- Licensed to practice law in California.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical and research skills required.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, fluid, and collaborative corporate culture.
- Demonstrated ability to think and decide quickly, and to communicate legal issues and solutions clearly and concisely.
- General knowledge of HR and employment state and federal laws.
