Corporate Controller Direct Hire 


We are recruiting for a Corporate Controller to be the successor to the CFO of a global company based in Roseville. As the Controller you will be responsible for technical accounting and leading the accounting team. Our client offers strong leadership and a very generous package! Salary range: $160, 000/yr.-$180, 000/yr. DOE Onsite attendance in Roseville is required. 


The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills and a CPA license.

Primary Responsibilities: 
  • Oversee the month end close process and compile and analyze monthly financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) 
  • Plan, direct, and evaluate the organization's fiscal responsibilities and performance 
  • Participate in the development of the company s plans and programs as a strategic partner 
  • Oversee the activities of accounts payable, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, purchase orders, petty cash, employee expense reports, cash control, and total corporate payroll tax compliance 
  • Perform proper analytical review of the operations from a balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow perspective as well as an overall business perspective 
  • Leverage financial analysis and create models to help the company identify areas where profitability can be improved, and expenses reduced 
  • Provide status of financial condition of all Divisions by collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data and recommending plans 
  • Establish budgets by creating schedules, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data 
  • Coordinate the annual audit and tax return and preparation.
  • Support and work closely with operations personnel and systems 
  • Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and good judgment in all interactions with co-workers, customers, vendors, and others


Skills and Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field in required
  • CPA or CMA certification is required 
  • 10+ years of experience in full general ledger accounting and financial reporting for a multi-location company 
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures including general ledger functions, month/year-end close procedures, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) 
  • Proven track record of successfully developing strong financial systems through hands-on, results oriented leadership 
  • Previous leadership experience including management of employees 
  • Significant experience with installing and using an ERP system
  • Dynamic leadership and management skills
  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills 
  • Ability to work well in a diverse, collaborative, fast-paced environment while adhering to high ethical standards 
  • Ability to think strategically and give consultative advice to senior leaders 
  • Strong verbal as well as non-verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment while managing competing demands and frequent
