We are recruiting an experienced Corporate Accountant to join a thriving Real Estate development leader in the Roseville area. This position reports to the Controller and is responsible for multiple property accounting processes, collaborating with key stakeholders, while overseeing specific key projects for the accounting department. Our client offers development and growth opportunity due to expansion in new regions.

Salary: $90k - $110k, DOE plus 16% annual bonus. This position is expected to be onsite at least 4 days a week after training.

The ideal candidate has strong corporate accounting experience, real estate development and public accounting experience is a plus.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare monthly funding request packages and monitor project budgets.

• Manage bank account balances to meet liquidity needs.

• Ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate audits.

• Reconcile and maintain the general ledger with complete documentation for balances.

• Assist in closing various real estate transactions, including land acquisitions and financing deals.

• Lead corporate accounting projects, setting timelines, assigning tasks, and providing team training.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years’ accounting experience. Real estate development or public accounting experience preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or similar.

• Working knowledge of loan and partnership agreements, policy and procedure manual, safety documents and reports.

• GAAP knowledge.

• Excellent communication skills across all levels of leadership and employees.

• Experience with accounting software and financial systems.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
