We have partnered with a well-established and growing organization to recruit for an experienced Controller to lead its financial operations. This high-impact leadership role is responsible for strengthening financial management practices, enhancing internal controls, and supporting the continued growth and stability of the organization. The Controller will oversee all accounting and finance functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cash flow management, and strong compliance across the enterprise. This role provides hands-on leadership while supervising accounting staff, collaborating closely with operational teams, and contributing to strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong business acumen, and experience supporting financial operations in dynamic, project-driven environments.
- Salary: $130,000-$150,000 DOE

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and all applicable federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain financial integrity.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors, ensuring timely coordination and documentation.
- Manage banking and financial institution relationships to support treasury and cash management activities.
- Oversee core accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger operations.
- Evaluate and enhance financial systems, processes, and workflows to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Drive process improvements that strengthen reporting, visibility, and operational effectiveness across the finance function.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Holds 7–10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including supervisory responsibility and strong knowledge of GAAP and corporate finance.
- Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA is a plus.
- CPA/CMA preferred.
- Demonstrates strong integrity, professionalism, and self-motivation, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Brings a continuous-improvement mindset focused on enhancing accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across financial processes.
