Job Description

We are recruiting for multiple Call Center Representatives for a thriving organization in the Roseville area. These are contract to hire opportunities and our client offers a collaborative work atmosphere, and generous employee benefits once hired from the contract period to include 100% medical coverage for employee, vacation, and other exciting perks! The Call Center Representative will be responsible for outbound calls to medical providers regarding medical records. Pay: $18/hour.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service, outstanding attendance and reliability, and a professional phone demeanor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify cases that need follow up or management assistance to obtain medical records.

  • Make outbound calls to hospitals for medical record retrieval as assigned. 

  • Meet minimum daily outbound phone call requirement of 60 Prepay/30 Post pay calls.

  • Make detailed notes in system with call dialogue as described in the policy and procedure. 

  • Print and fax documents to facility upon request.

  • Email Medical Records staff at hospitals for outstanding medical records with information needed to process record request.

  • Receive incoming phone calls from providers.

  • Respond to emails from staff in a timely manner.

  • Assist other departments as needed.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned. 


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. 

  • Two years of clerical experience.

  • Must have excellent customer service skills.

  • Ability to follow directions completely and independently.

  • Ability to follow all steps through to completion of task.

  • Working knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, and the Internet.

  • Ability to perform functions on copiers, faxes, and e-mail.

  • Ability to organize and maintain alphabetical, numerical, and chronological filing systems.

  • Ability to maintain confidential records.

  • Communicates exceptionally, both verbal and written.
