A well-established Accounting firm in Sacramento is seeking a detail oriented Bookkeeper to join their team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible to provide a variety of accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance services to the firm’s clients. Salary: $60,000+DOE
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of professional accounting experience, attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Tax planning and preparation for corporate, partnership, and individual clients
- Compiling, reviewing, and auditing financial statements
- Providing business advisory and consulting services
- Handling accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll tasks
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1-2 years’ accountant or bookkeeper experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA certification or on track for licensure
- Proven work experience in accounting and tax preparation services
- Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks, SAGE, and Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent project management and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
