Job Description

Pacific Staffing is recruiting a part-time Benefits Coordinator for a nationwide logistics company based in Sacramento. This is a 3 6-month contract opportunity, with the possibility of hire! The Benefits Coordinator will document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes. Schedule is Tuesday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Pay: $28-$30/hour DOE. 

Qualified candidates will possess excellent problem solving, customer service and organizational skills with special attention to detail. Two years experience in HR and/or benefits administration is required. 

  • Benefit payment tracking and letters to those on LOA. 
  • Process National Medical Child Support Orders.
  • Document procedures related to benefits administration management. 
  • Administer the employee recognition program.  
  • Administer other employee programs.
  • Create employee communication pieces on programs.
  • Complete various projects as needed. 
  • Manage validation reports on benefit plans.
  • Light scanning of documents. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

  • At least two years of related HR experience in a fast paced, high-volume environment required.  
  • Working knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws.
  • Proficiency with ATS software and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
