Job Description
Pacific Staffing is recruiting an Administrative Assistant for a nonprofit healthcare organization in Sacramento. This is a long-term contract opportunity to support a grant funded community health-worker training project anticipated to last 6+ months with a hybrid work schedule. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills with the ability to manage expense data in MS Excel, manage high-volume document processing and generate expense reports while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer the phone and act as first point of contact ensuring to provide a high level of customer service.
- Provide administrative support by maintaining documents, files, and policies or procedures.
- Process applications from student enrollments.
- Process various financial documents.
- Proofread, compile data, and create reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure that all wraparound services are accounted for and tracked appropriately, and backups are filed.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative role managing data and processing of documents.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- High attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, as well as be part of a team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions.
