Accounts Payable Specialist – Direct Hire 

We are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join an established real estate development and property management company based in the Roseville area. Our client offers a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial company culture, a strong leadership team, and a flexible working environment. Pay range: $29.81-$31.25/hour.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience processing full cycle accounts payable and has bank account management experience.

Primary responsibilities:

• Coordinate invoice approvals.
• Data entry and processing weekly check run.
• Monitor utility bills and payments.
• Research in a timely manner any past due bills and statements.
• Process monthly partner distributions and related reports.
• Reconcile credit card transactions and manage payments.
• Make monthly mortgage payments.
• Process quarterly tax payments.
• Coordinate bank transfers.
• Create and manage ACH payments.
• Process daily deposits.
• Maintain paper and electronic files, including W-9s.
• Serve as bank account liaison, set up new bank accounts, work with a variety of banks and banking websites.
• Collect information, prepare and file 1099 forms.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in accounts payable processing.
• Intermediate skills with MS Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with automating and improving AP process a plus.
• Strong accounts payable and bank account management experience
• Strong organization skills to handle multiple requests and maintain files
• Work well in a team environment
• Effective interpersonal communication techniques, verbally and in writing.
• Establish and maintain professional working relationships with staff, service providers, and vendors.
