Workers' Compensation Analyst
Downtown Sac, CA | Temp-to-Hire Position
Responsibilities: Responsible for all aspects of workers' compensation policy administration. Attends quarterly checkpoint meetings via web conference to review ongoing issues, errors, concerns; learns of upcoming WC administration and reporting changes. Sets up follow-ups with staff as needed to discuss error responses and/or IT questions. Tracks fines related to WC data submission. Responds to WC inquiries. Processes submission of 601 change of ownership forms. Processes multi-line discount reconciliations for WC policies. Creates and maintains documentation of processes.
Requirements: 2 years' experience with worker's compensation or insurance business systems. High school diploma or GED required; Business degree in related field preferred. Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Ability to use good judgement. Working knowledge of AS/400 system, MS Office applications. Works well under pressure and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated abilityto identify and recommend efficiencies on current processes and procedures. Must be able to clear a criminal background check.
