RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare invoices and gather supporting documentation. Reconcile general ledger accounts with supporting schedules on a monthly basis. Journal entry preparation to include, but not limited to, depreciation, amortization, payroll, accruals, prepaid amortization, inventory relief, adjusting, correcting, year-end closing. Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Provide support to management on special projects and ad hoc reporting. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Bachelor's Degree and two years of full cycle accounting experience required. Knowledge of basic accounting principles, including generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including familiarity with vlookups, pivot tables, etc. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains preferred. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
