Responsibilities: Receive and count stock items, recording appropriately. Examine incoming and outgoing shipment contents and comparewith records to verify accuracy. Perform regular inventory accuracy audits and resolve inventory discrepancies withappropriate departments. Record shipment data such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages/discrepancies for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes. Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials. Maintain perpetual inventory system where each activity or transaction is recorded and a new balance is computed. Weigh inbound and outbound trucks preparing documentation; provides direction to loading/unloading area. Review reports on a daily basis and schedule shipments for on time arrival to customer. Follow-up on scheduled, unshipped orders.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years' experience working with inventory. Basic mathematicknowledge for inventory processing. Microsoft Office Proficient with knowledge of inventory software. Strong written and verbal communication. Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong critical thinking skills. Microsoft OfficeProficient with knowledge of inventory software. Valid California Driver's license required. Ability to lift and/ormove up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
