Senior Finance & Controlling Manager
Responsibilities: Responsible for all aspects of general ledger accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, budgeting, cashflow, internal/external controls, costing, asset management and financial analysis. Manage monthly, quarterly and annual close cycles. Review transactions and assist billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and money management functions when necessary. Prepare financial analysis for Executives. Control capital expenditures; perform financial analysis, justification of capital and major expense proposals. Prepare and file sales tax returns for multiple states. Prepare reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations. Manage annual budgeting process and provide quarterly forecasts.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is required. 5-8 years' experience with in the construction/engineering industry and job costingis highly desired. Must have knowledge Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), including tax and audit reporting requirements. FAR preferred. Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, job costing background. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Strong sense of responsibility regarding timelyand accurate completion of work, and a strong commitment to corporate goals.
